The year was 2014...
Yankee Candle - America's #1 most-recognised name in the scented candle business - made its foray into Asia. The brand appointed us, Scensation Malaysia, as the distributor for Yankee Candle in Malaysia. We were also given the distribution rights for Singapore in 2009 and Hong Kong in 2018.
We are also the distributor of Utah-based Candle Warmers, Etc. since 2014 in Malaysia. The brand manufactures the original candle warmer with the patented top-down warming technology. These candle warmers use the heat of a halogen bulb to melt a scented candle without burning it. We hold the distribution rights for Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong too.

Christmas 1969. Seventeen-year-old Mike Kittredge, too broke to buy his mother a present, melted some crayons to make her a candle. A neighbor saw it and convinced Mike to sell the candle to her. With that small stake, he bought enough wax to make two candles - one for his mom, and another to sell. That was the birth of Yankee Candle.
